Hi, I’m Justin, the person behind Retirement Guru.

I started Retirement Guru because I realised that many people approach retirement with a mix of excitement and uncertainty often with plenty of information about money, but far less clarity about purpose, identity, and how to design the next phase of life meaningfully.

Over the years, through conversations, writing, and my own journey, I’ve come to believe that retirement isn’t simply about stopping work. It’s about creating a life that balances health, income, purpose, and experiences in a way that feels intentional and sustainable.

Retirement Guru began as a way to share reflections and ideas, but it has gradually grown into something more. It is a space where people can learn from one another, share perspectives, and support each other as they navigate the transition into the second half of life.

My mission is simple: to help people retire successfully — not just financially, but emotionally and psychologically — so they can live with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
